Gahee Lim was born and raised in South Korea and finished high school education in Australia. She moved to New York in 2010 to attend BFA fashion design program at Parsons the New School for design. She was more focused in experimental Womenswear then, but with huge curiosity in menswear. In 2013, at BFA thesis presentation, she was approached by Shelley Fox, the director of Parsons MFA fashion design and society program to get on board. Gahee wanted to explore more in menswear and mature her study in fashion design. She recently finished 2 years long masters study and showed her thesis during New York Fashion Week at Milk Studio. Her masters thesis depicts gender fluidity which reflects both BFA study in womenswear and MFA study in menswear design.
