Setlog has everyone in your friend group post a two-second video every hour. The satisfying part isn't your own post, it's the smiley face that shows up when the whole group, scattered across timezones, has actually checked in.

Giorno Poetry Systems, a poetry club in New York, has a website that looks like a techno flyer with primary colors and bold interactions, the kind of UX you'd find at a DJ event. I'd follow this club just for the design.

Spent an afternoon at the Noguchi Museum in Queens, not a single straight line in any sculpture. The same organic warmth is showing up in tech brand identity (Anthropic's loading screens, Notion's characters), and I keep wondering whether a finance platform could carry some of it.

Yellow or pale yellow keeps winning against busy editorial images in my feed, holding its own without flattening what's underneath. Trying it in my own work next.

Every friend who's done Function Health has come back biologically younger than their actual age. Got mine today, either the model is generous or my friend group is genuinely thriving.

Two kinds of agent in V2. Specialized ones, narrow and focused, sitting inside a single project. And a manager agent that coordinates them when work crosses teams, billing and revenue together. The hard part isn't the specialists. It's how the manager surfaces their work without burying the person.

Serif keeps showing up across tech product interfaces, doing the editorial work of making software feel less machine-built. Tempted to try it on my own site even though those extra strokes start to crowd small text.

Engineering was building out the agent and LLM side of the platform in parallel while we designed the rest of the system. Now you can type a description into Process Flow and get back a workflow draft solid enough for a person to verify and ship. The trust layer we built for human work turns out to be the right surface for AI work too.

FinOps V1 went through an unusual amount of user testing. One thing kept surfacing: a financial outcome needs visible reasoning to be trusted, whether a person did the work or the system did. V2 carries that same logic into how an agent handles financial work.

May 14, 2026

Designer, PM, and engineer building the same prototype at the same time. We have a working agent.

May 13, 2026

Cursor's token limit is the strictest writing teacher I've had.

May 12, 2026

Designing strategy for prompt-generated finance process systems and documents. Glass box beats black box.

May 8, 2026

Researching access and permission controls for sensitive workflows with agents inside them. The information architecture is doing real security work.

May 6, 2026

We ran user test sessions with AI-built/generated design that drifted from our design system. The visual wasn't the friction. The human decisions were.

May 5, 2026

PM writes the logic, I shape the interface, both of us in Cursor. Different strengths, no handoff.
